YES3 Studies
Software designer Peter Charpentier took the stage with study manager Mary Geda at the 2024 American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Clinical Informatics Conference for a live system demonstration of the Yale Study Support Suite (YES3) Dashboard External Module.
The YES3 Dashboard allows data managers to build their own customizable project interfaces within the REDCap data ecosystem- a task typically relegated to software engineers and out of reach for many research budgets. This cutting-edge tool eliminates the need for specialized programming, streamlines operations and enhances efficiency of managing complex tasks. By integrating features such as secure messaging, error resolution tools, and comprehensive data exploration, the YES3 Dashboard is a powerful workflow and data management tool for research ranging from large national trials to small pilot investigations.
Over the past year, the software has gone through robust testing and has been successfully vetted on a variety of active research projects. The workgroup contributors, including Sui Tsang, Katy Araujo, Baylah Tessier-Sherman, Janet Truebig, and Sherri Aiudi, have been invaluable to the software development.
The YES3 Dashboard is in the final stages as the workgroup develops user-facing training materials and documentation. The public release to the Vanderbilt Consortium is scheduled for 2025.

“The filters, ability to sort, links to different study forms have made participant management much more efficient, less prone to errors, and easy to organize amongst multiple staff members.”
Michelle Santangelo, Rush University Research Project Manager for INSPIRE.
